System & Software Architecture
  • Define and maintain system/software architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Analyze system/software requirements and translate them into comprehensive, scalable, and high-performance architectural designs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed architectural documentation.
  • Design top-level software structure for new features and components, and support engineering teams during implementation.
  • Collaborate with software verification engineers to define integration strategies and architectural verification approaches.
  • Assess and mitigate safety and security risks in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety and security assurance activities, providing technical guidance on mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to client consulting activities related to architecture topics.
Product & Legacy Roadmap
  • Define and document the roadmap for reusable software components across multiple ATM applications.
  • Maintain and enhance legacy system components by tracking obsolescence, identifying performance bottlenecks, and proposing improvement strategies.
Strategic Impact in a Critical IndustryTechnical Leadership & Innovation Opportunity
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, particularly with distributed systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in system architecture, preferably within complex or regulated domains.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM) is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is considered an asset.
  • Be eligible for a Swiss Working Permit (Swiss or EU Citizenship or valid valid Swiss Working Permit)
