Are you a Testing Manager / Business Analyst with strong experience in data-driven projects, regulatory environments, and end-to-end testing management, looking to play a key role in a strategic global transformation initiative?A leading private banking organization in Zurich is currently looking for a Testing Manager / Business Analyst to support the development and global rollout of a strategic in-house compliance analytics platform. The platform focuses on key regulatory areas such as AML, KYC, and Point of Sale monitoring, enabling enhanced compliance reporting and operational excellence.In this role, you will act as a critical interface between business stakeholders and data-centric delivery teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, testing strategies are robust, and solutions are delivered with the highest quality standards. You will drive test strategy, planning, execution, and validation, while translating complex regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable test cases and scenarios.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Defining and owning the end-to-end testing strategy for a global compliance analytics platform
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing all testing activities, including sprint testing, test reviews, demos, and acceptance testing
  • Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring aligned definitions and harmonized data
  • Translating complex regulatory and compliance requirements into structured test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Managing test case creation, defect tracking, and reporting using Jira
  • Supporting the full reporting lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, post-release support, and continuous improvement
  • Validating data accuracy and integrity using SQL and relational databases (Oracle)
  • Supporting reporting validation using Tableau or Power BI
  • Contributing to data-intensive projects related to risk, compliance, and financial crime reporting
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in combined roles as Test Manager and Business Analyst, ideally in financial services or banking
  • Proven experience delivering regulatory, compliance, or risk-related projects
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira for test and defect management
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle DB) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience validating reporting outputs using Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams
  • Fluent English required; basic German is a plus
