Workload: 100%Joining a startup within a well-established company like Axpo Services EMEA presents an exciting opportunity in Madrid. As an In-house Developer Test Automation, you'll contribute to building and shaping the corporate IT center. Your role involves ensuring software quality and reliability through automated testing solutions. Collaboration with software developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders is key to maintaining high standards. Responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and executing automated test cases using Triacentis-Tosca and QTest, as well as training colleagues and acting as a key user for test automation.What you will do:
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts to improve testing processes and increase test coverage.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to design test cases and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Utilize algorithms such as pairwise and linear expansion to enhance test coverage.
  • Create and manage automated performance and load tests to evaluate system scalability and response times.
  • Execute functional and regression test portfolios, identify and report software defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution. Additionally, maintain test cases, the test repository, and stay updated on industry best practices for continuous process improvement.
What you bring & who you are:
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field, with a proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration skills are essential for working with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Desired experience includes software development, test automation, and familiarity with Tricentis tools like qTest and Tosca.
  • Strong programming skills in Visual Basic, Java, or C#, coupled with Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge.
  • Fluent in English, with German and Spanish as advantageous languages
