Then watch .As an intern in the Technical Supplier Management (TSM) organization, you'll contribute to an exciting project to align our four sites (Mannheim, Ludwigsburg, Rotkreuz, and Tucson) within the Instrument Operations Network (ION). The project aims to establish a global strategic process landscape for sustainability, change management, non-conformance management, new product introduction, and product care.During your internship, you'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including experts from each site, to assess current processes and identify areas for improvement. You'll actively participate in workshops and discussions to develop standardized processes that enhance efficiency and collaboration across all sites.This internship offers hands-on experience in project management, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and change management. You'll gain insights into global operations business complexities and play a vital role in shaping operational excellence within the ION organization.This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, mainly on site but with some flexibility for hybrid working.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct a comprehensive gap analysis of the current process landscape within the ION organizationDevelop visual representations, such as flow charts or diagrams, illustrating the Roles & Responsibilities for each process at different sites within the Technical Supplier Management organizationCollaborate with stakeholders to define and document an overarching concept for how the sites should work together on various themes, including sustainability, change management, non-conformance management, new product introduction, and product careAssist in the identification of opportunities for process improvement and optimizationSupport the implementation of recommended changes and ensure proper communication and training is provided to relevant stakeholdersConduct research and analysis to gather relevant data and information for process improvement initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of processes and responsibilities across different sitesWho You AreYou are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Business Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Ecology, Operations Management or similar within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.Furthermore you areFluent in English or German, preferably bothA confident communicator and a proactive team playerPassionate about driving sustainability initiatives forwardEnthusiastic about exploring new technologies and continuously seeking opportunities for process optimizationTechnical detailsThe preferred start date for the internship is September 2024.
