Working with an extensive network of partners and business development offices in Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East, we offer comprehensive, fully customized solutions for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aircraft engines, airframes and components sales business including impeccable technical support to over 500 customers worldwide. As a Supervisor - New Engines Kitting you will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of an effective Team, advises on matters of safety, quality, delivery and cost as well as communicates and coordinates with internal and external organizations as appropriate. New Engines Kitting will be responsible to collect and control required material for engine assembly (LEAP & GTF). Material is stored then in dedicated kit cart and ERP System updated accordingly by the kitting team. The organization of Kitting area must ensure optimization of space allocation and compliance with SR Technics standard.Your tasks
- Promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy are communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization
- Ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual
- Assign employees to their jobs and skills. Maintain vacation planning in accordance with engine planning and monitor labor efficiency.
- Execute and promote Continuous Improvements applying Lean principles as the process to achieve all targets
- Define, manage and improve related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPI). Report KPI’s to Heads regularly
- Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow up with all employees. Apply performance management process (PMP) and provide leadership with a focus on employee motivation
- Over 5 years of professional experience with significant understanding of operational activities related to delivering a specific service required, desirably in the MRO industry
- Technical background or technical education
- Experience in a leadership position with profound knowledge of function related processes and ability for continuous improvement as well as how to lead and train a team
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
- Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma
- B2 level of English, German is a plus
