Human by nature.Global Category Manager Consultancy, Temp Labor, Legal & IP - Your next role?As the Global Category Manager Consultancy, Temp Labor, Legal & IP, you will develop and implement global strategies in Consultancy, Temp Labor, Legal & IP (and related tactical plans) according to Sr. Global Category Manager to source the IM&S categories and secure supply following business plan.You will directly report to the Sr. Global Category Manager, Consultancy, Legal and can be based either in Kemptthal or Vernier, Switzerland.Your main responsibilities will include:Sourcing StrategyDrive the development of global category strategies within the framework of the global procurement strategyAnalyze market and implement risk management strategies for the portfolioLead global sourcing strategy development within cross functional teams including regional category managers for relevant categoriesDrive global sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and key negotiationsPortfolio ManagementNegotiate contracts globallySelect, manage and audit suppliersIdentify opportunities for portfolio optimization and involve and engage partners in development of optimization plans.Manage key supplier relationships, and lead escalated supplier conflict resolutionsLink with Site Buyers, Regional Category Managers, Regional IM&S Heads and sourcing centers to identify alternative suppliers in other geographies, deploy global strategies, contracts and framework agreements, collect supplier performance feedback and ensure supplier performance at target levelsStakeholder RelationshipSupport internal stakeholderRepresent procurement in the project steering committees, being a project team member and participating in the strategical decisions along projects executionCommunicate with key internal Global Category Managers any market conditions changes which may affect the BusinessSupport the responsible sourcing projects implementation & provide information to Procurement Sustainability Manager when neededIdentify potential demand and specification changes and communicate/influence business stakeholders to drive cost improvementsCost Optimization and Business PlanningPrepare initiative plans and forecasts following business budget cycleDevelop cost reduction projectsProvide price forecast and market trends for key commodities and servicesSustainabilityPromote the sustainability and Responsible Sourcing agenda globally for Consultancy, Temp Labor, Legal and IPAI/TechnologyUse AI and advanced technologies to enhance procurement processes in Consultancy, Temp Labor, Legal and IPImplement digital tools for data analysis, supplier performance tracking, and market trend forecasting to improve efficiency sourcing strategiesStay informed about latest technologies and industry trends that impact Consultancy, Temp Labor, Legal and IP and procurement, ensuring we remain innovativeCollaborate with IT and data analytics teams to develop technology solutions that support procurement goals and enhance partner engagementYour successful profile includes:University degree or equivalent experienceSpecific procurement education is beneficial7 years of experience in IM&S procurement in relevant categoriesInternational exposure in previous roleFluent in EnglishProject management skillsOur benefitsAttractive package with benefitsExcellent opportunities for progressive learning and developmentA creative team environment that will inspire youOther local benefits based on where you are based1 day home office opportunity per weekMultiple location: Vernier (Switzerland), Kemptthal (Switzerland)At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
