- Lead and deliver engineering CapEx projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including concept development, planning, execution, commissioning support, and final handover
- Support and/or develop business cases to secure project funding and investment approval
- Ensure full compliance with EHS standards, environmental regulations, and cGMP requirements, as well as internal engineering and quality procedures
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, QA, EHS, Sustainability, and global technical teams
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and execution strategies aligned with business needs
- Monitor and control cost, schedule, quality, and risk, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues
- Drive clear and structured communication across project teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts where applicable
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, quality systems, and regulatory expectations throughout all project phases
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project engineering within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
- Proven experience delivering CapEx projects in GMP-regulated environments
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, engineering processes, and project execution principles
- Ability to manage full lifecycle projects from initiation to handover
- Experience working with structured project management tools and reporting systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to produce quality work and achieve project deadlines within budget
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent commercial skills with the ability to manage projects to budget man-hours and commercial return targets
- Strong work ethic
