- Originate and deliver tailored investment proposals, incorporating comprehensive portfolio analysis and customised asset allocation strategies aligned with clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives
- Conduct in-depth portfolio performance reviews and produce analytical reports that inform strategic decisions, strengthen client dialogues, and demonstrate expertise and transparency
- Proactively research, develop, and evaluate innovative investment solutions and portfolio construction methodologies by integrating macroeconomic trends, geopolitical developments, and evolving market dynamics, all within defined risk parameters
- Contribute to idea generation, thematic research, and regional investment recommendations particularly relevant to Emerging Markets clientele
- Serve as a trusted investments advisor for clients, providing holistic advice across all major asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-asset solutions
- Play a pivotal role in client and prospect engagements, designing and delivering high-impact, insight-driven presentations featuring market commentary, thematic ideas, and targeted opportunity assessments tailored to individual client profiles
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to co-develop bespoke investment strategies that reflect each client’s financial aims, risk appetite, and cultural background
- Jointly lead client meetings and advisory sessions, ensuring consistent delivery of premium advisory services
- Take full responsibility for the end-to-end processing of trade transactions, including initiation, validation, coordination with middle/back office, and post-trade confirmation
- Work closely with the senior investment advisors to support daily activities, contribute to the resolution of complex investment challenges, and ensure the seamless execution of advisory services.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of buy/sell orders across multiple asset classes, in compliance with internal trading protocols, settlement timelines, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor trade lifecycles proactively, resolving discrepancies swiftly and maintaining close coordination with custody, operations, and compliance units when necessary
- Provide high-caliber operational and administrative support, ensuring seamless execution across client servicing workflows
- Uphold strict adherence to internal governance standards, documentation requirements, and regulatory obligations (including MiFID II appropriateness assessments and suitability checks)
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, investment rationales, and transaction histories in accordance with audit and compliance frameworks
- Stay continuously updated on global market developments, investment themes, product innovations, and relevant regulatory changes affecting cross-border wealth management
- Leverage insights from global research and internal experts to enrich client conversations and ensure recommendations remain forward-looking and well-informed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
- CFA Charterholder (or equivalent) or being enrolled to one of the CFA Exams is considered an advantage
- CWMA Holder preferred
- Full professional fluency in English is essential, as well as Spanish and/ or Portuguese (Fluent to Native level)
- 3 – 10 years of relevant professional experience investment advisory, in private banking, or a similar financial services environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, self-driven, and able to act independently
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information efficiently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure, capable of meeting tight deadlines without compromising precision
- For this role, permanently based in Zürich (CH), eligibility to work in the country of application and to travel within Switzerland
