You will identify and establish partnerships with leading technology providers for End of Line Technologies.In this position, you will build and orchestrate a strong global technical community with subject matter expertise in filling & packaging line technologies. This community will enable high-performance operations, maximizing the 4Ms (Man, Machine, Material, and Method) while facilitating the introduction of new technologies through innovation and research (I&R).A Day in the Life of a Senior R&D Engineering Specialist F&P Digital Automation
- Develop and implement automation, robotics, and digital solutions for Filling & Packaging across the full project lifecycle, from experimentation to industrialization.
- Standardize operational technologies and integration practices for Filling & Packaging lines, ensuring consistent implementation in investment projects.
- Lead the deployment of automation and digital solutions in Nutrition plants and support new packaging and machine development using modeling and simulation.
- Contribute to expert networks and communities, promoting knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and feedback to improve design and execution.
- Mentor and support team members, including coaching younger colleagues and enhancing team capabilities through training and succession planning.
- Explore and validate new technologies, build a Science & Technology roadmap, and provide technical support and troubleshooting for operations.
- Background in Engineering with deep expertise in Filling & Packaging Digital Automation, Machine & System Integration, and Robotics.
- Wide experience in Filling & Packaging digital applications with operational experience in Filling & Packing.
- Proven leadership and strategic capabilities, including coaching teams, building technology roadmaps, and driving complex technical streams in international packaging projects.
- Experience leading complex technical engineering streams in global packaging projects and managing suppliers and stakeholders effectively.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%, supporting global initiatives and ensuring alignment across diverse operational environments
- Excellent communication skills and full business proficiency in English, any other language is an asset
