We are seeking an English-qualified lawyer, focusing on banking and general commercial matters. This role is ideal for someone with 1-5 years of post-qualification experience.Responsibilities
Advise clients on legal aspects of international contracts for the sale or purchase of material
Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and financial contracts
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and financial laws
Support structured finance, project finance, and real estate finance transactions
Provide legal support across various departments including corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
Draft and review contracts and internal policies
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on diverse legal topics
Assist in dispute resolution and liaise with external counsel when needed
Participate in client meetings and negotiations
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Stay updated on legal developments and advise on implications for the business
Your Profile
Law degree and bar admission, preferably in a common law or mixed common/civil law jurisdiction
1-5 years PQE in banking, finance, or general commercial law
English mother tongue, proficiency with the Italian language will be a very strong plus
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure
High level of professional ethics and integrity
