The programme will provide you with the opportunity to establish an extensive network of peers and experts within Pictet and to meet members of the management, with potential short assignments to our overseas offices.Your roleKey Responsibilities
  • Implementation & Administration
Manage the life-cycle of multi-asset discretionary mandates from initial setup, rebalancing and liquidation, and liaise with various stakeholders.
Implement investment decisions primarily for multi-asset discretionary mandates.
Place orders in the portfolio management system and liaise with trading, operations and various support functions.
Daily management of cash/securities/forex positions.
  • Portfolio Management Support
Assist senior portfolio managers on portfolio management related tasks, such as implementation monitoring, deviation monitoring, instrument monitoring, etc.
Assist in maintaining internal model portfolios for Project Pearl and be the key internal contact/coordinator support on various portfolio management related activities.
Proactive review of funds and securities held in portfolios and propose investment ideas
Monthly performance follow-up relative to benchmarks.
Analyze performance and understand sources of contribution & deviation.
  • Risk Control
Minimize asset allocation deviation between client and model portfolios, by conduct regular risk monitoring tasks.
Ensure mandates always comply with the bank's risk management process and client guidelines.
Manage constraints on both pre-trade and post-trade basis.
  • Marketing & Communication
Provide marketing support and investment comments for internal and external consumption.
Work closely with multi asset, product and business management, and other internal stakeholders in supporting regular communication with both internal and external parties.Your profile
  • Over 5 years of experience in effective portfolio management and implementation of a large number of client accounts. Capacity to adapt to a global firm environment made of several hubs in Europe and Asia.
  • Efficient, meticulous, hard-working and teamwork are values required for the role.
  • Ability to analyze issues quickly and independently and take appropriate action.
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Self-starter and solution oriented.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Powerpoint and Bloomberg.
