:We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Building Services Engineer to join our growing team in Basel, Switzerland. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The role will focus on projects in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors.With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include acting as a Lead Engineer especially at the initial stages of projects delivering high valued input to our cutting edge designs. A key part of your role will be to support and mentor your team-members.Who we arePM Group is a leading international engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. Design, Manage and Coordinate production of all Building Services systems, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing and Fire Protection for large scale projects.
Lead the design from concept to handover
Act as a SME and further develop PM Group’s design capability
Attend design team meetings
Conduct onsite inspections
Develop and guide team working under your supervision
Liaise and interact with the wider project team including designers, client and contractor
Ensure that designs are in accordance with applicable codes and standards, e.g. Swiss Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, Swiss Standards and Health & Safety Regulations

Degree educated or apprenticeship in Building Services (TGA) or related discipline
10+ years’ experience in the design of Building Services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the pharmaceutical/Life Sciences sectors
Competent in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.
Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment
Fluent in English; Min. B2-level in German
