- Enhance the Function: Design and execute the multi-year roadmap for P&C's indirect procurement, establishing its vision, policies, and governance.
- Lead the Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of up to ten professionals across Category Management, Operations, and Systems/Analytics.
- Executive Partnership: Act as the primary procurement advisor to the C-suite and senior leadership, translating their business strategies into procurement-led action.
- Build Trust: Champion a strategic partner model, proactively engaging with department heads (Marketing, IT, Real Estate, Supply Chain) to understand their pain points and co-create solutions.
- Drive Adoption: Act as the lead change agent for new procurement processes and technologies, demonstrating their value to the business.
- Educate the Business: Clearly articulate the "why" behind strategic sourcing to secure buy-in and ensure compliance with new policies.
- Deliver Savings: Develop and execute a comprehensive savings pipeline, delivering significant, measurable cost reductions and value improvements that directly impact the company's bottom line.
- Oversee Categories:Provide expert guidance to your Category Managers on complex, high-spend areas including:
- IT: Software (SaaS), Hardware, Cloud, IT Services & Artificial Intelligence.
- Marketing: Media Buy, Creative Agencies, Print & Events.
- Supply Chain: 3PL, Packaging & Non-Merch Freight.
- Real Estate: Store Fit-Out, Facilities Management (Cleaning, Security) & Utilities.
- Professional Services: Consulting, Legal & Temporary Labor.
- Lead Key Negotiations: Personally lead the most complex and high-value supplier negotiations to set the standard for the team.
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P): In partnership with your Systems & Ops managers, design and implement a scalable, group-wide P2P process.
- Data & Analytics: Champion a data- and AI-driven approach, using spend analytics to identify opportunities, track KPIs, and report performance to the board.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Establish a robust supplier risk & compliance management framework to protect P&C from supply chain disruptions, financial risks, and reputational damage.
- 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Retail/FMCG Experience: Deep understanding of the pace and unique spend categories of a multi-channel retail environment.
- Broad Category Expertise: Significant personal experience sourcing several of our key categories (IT, Marketing, Logistics, Real Estate).
- Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Language: Fluent in German; professional proficiency in English is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Influence: You are a high-impact leader. You build trust at all levels, from an analyst to the C-suite, and can sell a vision.
