We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Head of Finance. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer of Crypto Finance AG.The Head of Finance will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. The Head of Finance and their team are responsible for managing all aspects of finance, including accounting, regulatory reporting, capital management, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial sector and demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.The starting date is as soon as possible in our office in Zurich, Switzerland.Key responsibilities
Lead Crypto Finance Group’s financial strategy and financial operations
Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and expectations as well as Deutsche Börse Group guidelines
Oversee Crypto Finance Group’s financial planning, including capital and liquidity management
Manage budgeting process
Lead and develop a team of finance specialists
Develop and manage Crypto Finance Group’s financial policies, procedures, and controls
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and report accurate financial results to management
Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory reporting and tax filings
Analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and support business objectives
Advise senior management on specific finance and accounting-related questions
Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, including the audit of the internal control system
Monitor and understand applicable national and international regulatory requirements and developments in the relevant area
Requirements
Master’s degree in finance or economics
A professional accounting qualification, e.g., CFA or CPA is a plus
Proven experience in a finance role, preferably within the banking and trading industry or at a leading global accounting firm
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards
Demonstrated ability to manage capital, financial planning, and budgeting processes
Strong problem-solving mindset, creative in finding solutions, structured in implementation
A dynamic person with an innovative spirit, a positive attitude, and strong motivational skills
Self-driven, results-oriented, and hands-on, with an attention to detail
Fluency in English/German
Previous experience in the crypto industry is beneficial
