For sourcing responsibilities, they will work under the direction of the Head of Sourcing.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?Reporting to the Head of Community Care & Network, this role will be responsible for:
Research and source artisans and objects for Homo Faber Biennial 2026 in Venice (October 2025 - April 2026).
Coordinate and edit the Homo Faber Biennial 2026 online exhibition catalogue content (March 2026 - September 2026).
Researching and sourcing artisans and objects for Homo Faber Biennial 2026:
Establish a clear and efficient strategy for researching and sourcing artisans and objects for Homo Faber 2026, in alignment with the curatorial direction and under the guidance of the Head of Sourcing and the Head of Community Care & Network.
Conduct research to identify suitable artisans and objects in various countries for Homo Faber 2026, adhering to the strategy defined with the Head of Sourcing.
Support Regional Coordinators in evaluating artisan profiles using the Michelangelo Foundation's 11 Criteria of Excellence.
Support the organisation of live demonstrations for Homo Faber 2026, including visa coordination.
Enter and maintain exhibitor data in Salesforce to ensure effective and timely information sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on exhibitors and objects to Michelangelo Foundation management and other relevant stakeholders.
Contact selected artisans to gather object proposals.
Editing the E-Catalogue for Homo Faber Biennial 2026:
Have a clear understanding of the Homo Faber 2026 curatorial direction, project objectives, scope, and the technical constraints.
Establish an editorial strategy for the E-Catalogue in collaboration with the Homo Faber Guide team.
Liaise with the Education team to define and address the E-Catalogue content needs for the Young Ambassador training.
Define a strategy for the E-Catalogue's written content collection, tracking, and data entry in collaboration with the E-Catalogue Coordinator.
Integrate artisan and object data into the digital ecosystem (Salesforce, CMS) in collaboration with the E-Catalogue Coordinator.
Write and proofread editorial copy in English about artisans and their objects for the E-Catalogue, following Homo Faber editorial guidelines and the strategy defined with the Homo Faber Guide team.
Act as a liaison between different stakeholders to ensure that all the information on the E-Catalogue is constantly up to date.

Knowledge of craftsmanship, art, and design
Mother-tongue or C1 in English (French or any other language is an asset)
Excellent copywriting & proofreading skills in English
Experience
2 years of experience in a cultural environment
Experience in using Salesforce
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
