Job DescriptionYou will engage in the preparation and installation of beam line mechanical supports in beam line facilities (i.e Targets cavern). This includes participating in the fabrication follow-up, assembling tasks, logistics and installation.Your responsibilities
  • Conduct the dismantling/assembling activities of the beam line equipment.
  • Actively participate in all stages of the mechanical equipment readiness, from production to installation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, coordination teams and other technicians.
  • Communicate and report the advancement of the work to the supervisor and project managers.

- Familiarity with 3D modeling software and Microsoft Office pack.Skills

  • Knowledge and application of manufacturing methods and work preparation.
  • Organization, planning and control of tasks.
  • Installation of mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of design codes and compliance verification of mechanical equipment.
  • Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the basics of the other language.

  • You are a national of a
. * By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.
