- Set up and maintain robust accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and alignment with IFRS standards for Group reporting
- Oversee all accounting activities, including:
- General ledger and financial accounting
- Fixed assets
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Payment transactions and cash pooling
- Act as a key advisor to the General Manager and leadership team, providing qualitative and quantitative financial insights
- Drive business performance through analysis and decision support
- Implement and manage performance measurement systems to evaluate ROI on Capex, M&A, and Marketing investments
- Oversee contract management (excluding employment and supplier contracts)
- Monitor and forecast cash flow
- Optimize working capital and liquidity management
- Ensure full compliance with Swiss direct and indirect tax regulations (including VAT)
- Manage timely and accurate tax reporting and forecasting to Group HQ
- Support tax optimization initiatives and ensure alignment with Group tax strategy
- Implement and maintain transfer pricing policies and ensure proper local documentation
- Coordinate with local tax advisors and authorities (cantonal and federal)
- Support tax audits and litigation processes
- Ensure tax due diligence in M&A projects
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in line with Group guidelines
- Ensure accuracy of statutory accounts (Swiss GAAP / OR) and Group reporting (IFRS)
- Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team
- Act as the main finance interface for internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as a key point of contact for legal matters in collaboration with external law firms
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Swiss CPA / equivalent is a plus)
- Solid experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in international and matrix organizations
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP (OR)
- Proven experience in financial planning, controlling, and compliance
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent analytical mindset and business acumen
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making
- Fluent in English; German or French is highly desirable depending on location
