Manage accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Marketing and Vendor Funds, and General Ledger.
Prepare and review accounting schedules to ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Research technical accounting issues for compliance and handle regional and corporate requests on various accounting issues
Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings via company databox
Support ad-hoc projects
Provide financial analysis and decision support to management.
Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports and other corporate documents
Coordinate with legal counsel on corporate governance matters
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience
Should be professional qualified - CPA
Thorough knowledge of local accounting principles and procedures
Ability to solve the problem and manage the conflict of works across the functional departments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Czech and English (both written and spoken)
Strong interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space
Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team
Immediate availability is preferred
