Job Description:For our client, a global bank with offices in Geneva and Zurich, we are looking for anAFC Quality Assurance OfficerResponsibilities:
Perform AFC QA assessment across all AFC QA streams in accordance with the global methodology and quality standards.
Assess the completeness and accuracy of KYC, TMI, NLS and TF related cases using professional judgment, independent research, and the review of the supporting documentation.
Assess whether narratives address all risk factors, meet internal policies and procedures, regulatory standards and can be fully understood by a third party (i.e. Internal/External Audit, Regulators).
Document workflow status, work performed and the results of the AFC QA assessment.
Liaise with Senior Stakeholders from Business, Business Line AFC and AFC Policy teams at local/regional/global levels to discuss and validate the factual accuracy of AFC QA results.
Present AFC QA findings and areas for improvement to relevant stakeholders. Trackmanagement of findings, ensuring appropriate issue reporting and escalation.
Execute the AFC QA activities within the applicable commitments / Service Level Agreements.
Prepare Management Information (MI) and reports that are accurate, concise, timely and provide added value to the business to allow continuous improvement of controls and processes.
Manage relationships and influence key stakeholders across the business lines and collaborate with other control functions as required.
Provide assistance to ad-hoc requests from the Team Lead.
Profile:
5+ years in Anti-Financial Crime within a large financial institution.
Experience with KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Name List Screening, or Transactions Filtering.
Knowledge of AML regulations and financial crime risks.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Good skills with Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Knowledge and experience of working with AFC monitoring tools (LexisNexis, Worldcheck,Smaragd, HotScan, Fircosoft, etc.) and Case Management systems (e.g. Actimize).
CAMS certification is a plus.
Fluent in English and /or German, additional language will be a plus (e.g. French).
