Tax Manager EUCAN (m/f/d)

• Establish and maintain network to business within the countries in scope, analyze tax implications for transactions and provide high quality tax support to business partners such as finance, legal, business development, supply chain, HR, country managers, etc.
• Ensure professional and transparent communication with tax authorities at all time
• Accountable for corporate income tax compliance and tax audit defence within the region including coordination of corporate income tax compliance work with the clients Business Solutions (TBS Tax Solutions) in Poland and the local tax service provider
• Proactively identify, manage and mitigate tax risks
• Actively lead tax audits in the countries in scope including an alignment on information and data requests and liaison with global tax functional leads on audit defence strategy

• Proactively evaluate tax risks and discuss mitigating actions
• Monitor and coordinate transfer pricing adjustments / documentation within the countries in scope in cooperation with Transfer Pricing team
• Review contracts and business initiatives from a tax perspective

• University Degree in accounting/finance/law, master's degree in Economics/Finance or Law Degree, preferably with a specialization in Taxation
• CPA and/or certification as tax specialist (in line with regional industry standards) is a strong plus
• Experience in a tax position, with a minimum of 3 years of experience within the Pharma industry or Big 4 industries
• Experience with the concept of Shared Services is a plus
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and fiscal framework in the region (including in the Eastern Europe)
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting for income taxes
• Strong tax research and presentation skills
• Multilingual (Fluent in one Eastern European language is a plus)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
