Dual headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland and Boston, Massachusetts, Nexthink has 9 offices worldwide.#LI-HybridJob DescriptionOur project, Nexthink Workflow, focuses on creating dynamic, step-by-step automations that leverage the capabilities of the Nexthink web interface to enhance digital employee experience (DEX). The goal is to design workflows that empower IT teams to take the right actions, at the right time, and in the right way, further expanding the possibilities of what Nexthink can offer. These workflows are built to automate complex tasks, streamline IT operations, and deliver real-time insights, ultimately improving the digital workplace.
  • Design, implement, deliver and validate product features (both frontend and backend)
  • Lead technical discussions, set engineering standards, and support the team in adopting high-quality coding practices and testing strategies using measurable quality indicators.
  • Contribute to the team's roadmap by partnering with the Product Manager to shape the scope and define clear, actionable acceptance criteria.
  • Handle L3 support requests (together with the rest of the team)
  • Mentor engineers, support knowledge sharing, and help the team grow technically and operationally.
  • Work with the agile iterative/incremental mindset and best practices, and participate actively in the different ceremonials
Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Software Engineer role, including at least 1 year as a Tech Lead, with a strong ability to design, implement, test, and maintain product features end-to-end.
  • High proficiency in modern Java for backend development.
  • Good experience with frontend technologies (ideally ReactJS and TypeScript).
  • Solid understanding of API design, discovery and integration of 3rd party apis (RestAPI, GraphQL) and all that comes with it (resilience, pagination, etc).
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS preferred).
  • Comfortable using Git and CI/CD build tools.
  • Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, lean processes, and high-quality engineering.
  • Motivation to tackle complex technical challenges and learn new technologies.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
  • Strong refactoring and test automation abilities.
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog).
  • Exposure to or experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, tools, or integrations.
