“Drive Growth in a Strategic Defense Market”
The business-to-business market is a cornerstone of the European defense sector, as partnerships, supply chains, and technology collaborations between companies drive innovation, ensure strategic autonomy and strengthen competitiveness in a rapidly evolving security environment.This position will cover the sales of multi-sensor electro-optics modules for the industrial defense market (B2B) in Canada, Central, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.The introduction of SAFRAN products, the intensification of SAFRAN's recognition and the anticipation of partnerships with international players in the region are supposed to bolster the growth prospects of SAFRAN. For this challenge, we are looking for a motivated and ambitioned sales manager based in Switzerland but ready to travel to the region frequently.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING KEY ACTIVITIES:
  • Secure orders from industrial customers
  • Promote the SAFRAN Ultisense product portfolio
  • Continue developing the markets and key accounts
  • Identify and build relationships with key customers
  • Conduct trainings and product demonstrations
  • Understand and develop customer requirements
  • Manage and negotiate contracts
  • Develop marketing strategies to address the different markets appropriately and to boost SAFRAN's brand recognition
  • Participate in important exhibitions and conferences
  • Support, evaluate, develop and improve industrial partnerships
Fähigkeiten und VorraussetzungenTHE IDEAL PROFILE FOR THIS POSITION:
  • The ideal candidate is very familiar with the defense market in Europe and is well networked with the defense industry
  • You think strategically with a proven record of defense contracting and selling high tech industrial goods
  • You are capable of switching between different stakeholders in the complex buyer structures
  • You have a technical background, you like to dive into technical and commercial negotiations (sensors, electronics, software)
  • You have excellent communication & negotiation skills as well as intercultural awareness in dealing with our customers and partners
  • You are preferably an engineer with complementary education in sales management and marketing with min. 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in trade and contract law is considered advantageous
  • You are a team player who understands to embark SAFRAN Vectronix' departments and the international SAFRAN group collective
  • Fluency in English is mandatory while German and French and any other language skill would be beneficial
  • You are willing to travel and you consider staying in the region for an extended period plain sailing
  • Your home base will be in Heerbrugg, Switzerland
